Join us for a guided hike of two of the trail-less Catskill 3500 foot peaks. This is a combination trailed hike and bushwhack. Both Fir and Big Indian Mountains require off-trail navigation to reach the summits where you can sign the canister log books. These peaks are required for those pursuing 3500 club membership and the prized completion patch. The area between Fir and Big Indian Mountains is very remote and at this time of the year we may still find snow in the sheltered forest between the summits. The total hike is almost 11 miles and will include 2700 feet of elevation gain along with a couple of stream crossings, so plan on a full day.
