Join us on a hike to Plateau Mountain on the famous Devil’s path trail. This is a strenuous hike of 7 miles with over 2200 feet of ascent. The hike will include some steep climbing and light scrambling leading up to a wondrous walk through an enchanting forest along Plateau’s long summit ridge. We’ll be covering miles at elevations near 3800 feet and it is very likely that winter conditions will prevail. Spikes and snowshoes will be required.
This hike is being presented in conjunction with the Adirondack Mountain Club and the Catskill 3500 Club. We strongly encourage you to consider joining these worthy organizations.
