Our November social series hike is an ambitious loop of Rusk, Hunter, and Southwest Hunter Mountains. We’ll find the canisters on Rusk and Southwest Hunter and visit the fire tower on Hunter Mountain. The fall time change will have happened and we’ll need need to move at a moderate to brisk pace to complete this hike before sunset. We’ll cover 12 miles with approximately 3700 feet of elevation gain. This hike is for strong hikers in good shape.
This hike is being presented in conjunction with the Adirondack Mountain Club and the Catskill 3500 Club. We strongly encourage you to consider joining these worthy organizations.
